    Frequently asked questions.

Is it really free to run?

Yes. Your stray uses free allowances from AI providers, in your own name. You pay £5 once for the app and your stray, and there's no subscription.

Can I have more than one stray?

Yes. £5 gets you the app and the stray you pick. Any other stray, including new ones as they arrive, is £2.50 from the Strays section in the app. Your adoption code keeps track of who's yours.

    Is my data safe?

Your chat history stays on your device. Messages are sent to the AI provider that answers them, and in Private mode your stray only uses providers that say they don't train on your messages.

Do I need to be techy?

No. You sign in with Google once and your stray sets up its free AI for you, telling you how it's getting on.

Can it do things without asking?

It can look things up on its own. Anything that clicks, sends, buys or changes something asks you first.

What if a free allowance runs out?

Your stray switches to another provider by itself. With a few connected, most people never notice. If they're all resting, it says so and offers to add another in a couple of clicks.

    Phone version?

Android is planned. iPhone doesn't allow pets on top of other apps, so it'll be a home-screen app there.

There's a stray with your name on it.
